Abuse & Takedown Policy

Purpose

CartWise is committed to maintaining accurate, fair, and respectful content. This policy allows store owners, brands, rights holders, and users to report concerns about content displayed on CartWise and request correction or removal where appropriate.

Valid Takedown Requests

We will consider and act on valid requests including:

  • Incorrect product data: prices, product names, images, or availability shown incorrectly for your store.
  • Unauthorised image use: product images displayed without permission or in a misleading way.
  • Store listing removal: request for your store or specific products to be removed from CartWise.
  • Copyright infringement: content on CartWise that infringes your intellectual property rights.
  • User abuse: reports of CartWise users misusing the platform in a way that harms your business.

How to Submit a Request

Email your request to support@cartwiseqatar.com with the subject line "Takedown / Correction Request". Please include:

  • Your name and role (store owner, brand representative, rights holder).
  • A clear description of the issue.
  • The specific URL(s) on CartWise where the issue appears.
  • Supporting evidence (e.g. screenshot, proof of ownership, or correct pricing documentation).
  • Your preferred resolution (correction, removal, etc.).

Response Process

Our team will acknowledge your request within 2 business days. We aim to resolve valid requests within 7 business days. Complex cases may take longer; we will keep you informed of progress.

If we determine that a request is valid, we will take appropriate action, which may include correcting inaccurate data, removing images, or removing product or store listings entirely.

User Abuse Reports

If you believe a CartWise user is misusing the platform (e.g. scraping data for commercial use, submitting false information, or engaging in fraudulent activity), please report it to the same email address with relevant details. We investigate all abuse reports confidentially.

Onboarding & Partnerships

If you are a retailer or brand interested in a formal data partnership with CartWise — including accurate product feeds, co-marketing, or affiliate arrangements — please contact us at partnerships@cartwiseqatar.com. We welcome partnerships that improve price accuracy for our users.
